Introduction
From as far as I can recall, I have been searching for the meaning of life.
Why do things happen to us, why do we suffer, how can we deal with luck and bad luck, why is there so much “apparent” injustice in the world, who is God, what is right, what is wrong, why is good intention not always rewarded with good results?
These and so many other questions have followed me through life, and I always believed that one day, I would find the answers and would understand what lies beneath all this “apparent” chaos.
I was lucky enough to come face to face with the extraordinary regression therapy and had the privilege of viewing hundreds of cases where I could observe just how similar we all are. Regardless of each life being unique.
Throughout the book, I will try to show these similarities, curious aspects and stories of life, where we can gain consciousness of patterns and laws that rule us all, through an invisible reality. Whether we believe in it or not.
Routine and the almost hypnotic state in which we fall in our everyday lives don’t always allow us to stop, feel our role, become aware of our emotions, and question ourselves on the reality of our lives or the state of our happiness and inner peace.
What lies outside took precedence over what we cannot deny, which is our inner reality. There lies the cause of so many unbalances, stress, anxiety, exhaustion or simply a general apathy towards life’s challenges.
Emotions are part of us, whether we want them to be or not. They condition us almost 24 hours a day and without them, nothing would make sense.
This is a work on the emotions we all carry inside us and I will try to explain the role they have.
Instead of doing our utmost to reject the more violent emotions and chasing the ones that make us feel good, the challenge is to be receptive to all emotions, bearing in mind that inner peace and happiness lie in the balance of all of them.
I would like this book to be a pause for thought and reflection, going further in the understanding of our role as human beings (mental, emotional and physical) and as spiritual beings that we are.
Everything I wrote was observed, intuited, felt and lived. By myself and by all those who came to me. This is just my perception of the truth, life seen by my filter and therefore I advise all those who embark on this reading to do so with their minds and hearts open, to accept and integrate what makes sense and reject what doesn’t.
I believe there is only one truth and that is expressed in a unique manner in each one of us. This truth is revealed through the various pieces that life throws our way. Yet in order to gather those pieces we must be open to what is new, to the challenges, to the unknown.
We must have the courage and flexibility to “let go” of old concepts that no longer serve us and make room for new ones with more meaning in our current reality.
The ancient Chinese say:
“For everything to change, something has to stay the same”
And that “something” that remains the same is the truth that hides behind the apparent chaos. And if change is the only constant in life, we must always be willing to update what we believe in.
The grand goal does not come from you accepting my theory, but only that it makes you question the old and crystallised theories that are blocking the new from coming in; that are stopping truth from reaching each one of us. Weather they come from the outside or from the inside.
If at the end of the book someone asks; “is this really so”? then the goal has been reached.
May this book serve as a reminder that life is not only about going to school, finding a job, getting married, making money and buying things.
That life has laws, rules, a logic that, if conscious, understood and respected, will make us happier and more complete, and the world will become a better place.
We have become fearful, complaint and somewhat resistant to change. We have conformed to mediocrity; we have given up on a greater happiness just so we don’t have to venture into the unknown. In order to support mediocrity we have created mental schemes, we have locked ourselves from happiness and we hold on to things, ideas, and beliefs that support and maintain this mediocrity.
Yet life wants more for us than mere mediocrity. It wants us to shine, to be happy, complete, fulfilled and in perfect equilibrium between what is outside and what is inside us. Therefore, sooner or later, mediocrity is questioned somehow in some way or other, so that we may continue on our search and never surrender until we find our true goal, which is a free and truly happy existence.
Why do we go through painful situations, what are we doing here, how do we deal with apparent injustice, why are there “bad” people, why do so many have so much and others so little, why do so many suffer from early on, why do we start hiding our emotions, what is God, ego, soul, karma, is there really a recipe for happiness? There are many questions I constantly hear and curiously enough, they are all the same.
I sincerely hope that this book will help you to reach some conclusions and if it makes someone’s life a little more conscious and happy, then I too am happy.
That is what all this information has achieved in me.
Congratulations on your courage in wanting to go further and leave your comfort zone.
Happy reading!
